THIS SERVICE IS OFFERED AT THE AVON LOCATION ONLY.

These driving lessons are for students NOT enrolled in the 36-hour (30 hours of classroom + 6 one-hour drives) teen driver education program.   These drives are not associated with driver education.   You may take the State Road Test at Coach's.  The cost is $55.  Any student/customer taking any driving lessons acknowledges that they will hold Coach's Driver Education, the BMV, and State of Indiana harmless for any injuries sustained from any accident during any of the driving appointments.

For the safety of the student and instructor, students must speak and understand English. A valid permit or Driver License must be in the students possession to drive.  If possessing an International Driver License - information must be written in English.

You must enroll online. We do not take registrations in-office. Please call and inquire about potential drive appointments prior to making payment.  

Once you make payment there are no refunds.  You may not cancel or re-schedule a drive(s).  It will be a forfeit of the appointment(s) & monies paid if you are not here.

Out-of-Country Licenses

An out-of-country driver's license cannot be used for identification purposes. An out-of-country driver's license must be in the English language or presented with a verifiably accurate English translation of the document.

If you have an out-of-country driver's license and intend to become a resident of Indiana, you must pass the vision screening, written test, and driving test to obtain an Indiana driver's license.

All documents proving your identity, Social Security number, lawful status and Indiana residency will be verified through a central verification process. The BMV will issue an interim license, valid for 30 days, authorizing the holder to drive pending authentication of documents submitted.

Once the BMV has verified the documentation that you have provided, you will receive the license, learner's permit, or identification card. If the documents cannot be verified, you will receive a letter explaining the determination and your rights to request an administrative hearing to review the determination.

You may enroll and make payment, but you must call the office to schedule the appointment date/time.  Once you do enroll and make payment no refunds are given.
