Requirements
Students must be 15 1/2 years of age to take drivers education
  • On the 1st day of class, the students will be given a CDE form. The students will need to take this form to the BMV. This permit will allow the student to complete both the classroom and driving portion of the course within 120 days.
  • Students are required to carry both permits with them at all times.


BMV Required Documents
  • Identity/Lawful Status: Birth Certificate or Passport with stamp or seal
  • Indiana Residency: Bank Statement, Pay Stub, W-2, Voter Registration Card
  • Original Social Security Card
